For each day of the week, I will post a different reference photo, outline, and value study. Paint one or paint them all!

I will update this post every day throughout the week with the new reference photo. You may do one or all of the reference photos.

These are all photos of mine. If you make a painting with any of these, and want to sell, you have my permission. You also have my permission to sell prints of your paintings. If I can help put food on anyone’s table or help buy art supplies, that is fine with me.

Day 1: Saturday, January 21 Reference Photo, Outline and Value Study. Trinidad Scorpion Pepper on an Orange. (both grown in my yard)

Day 2: Sunday, January 22 Reference Photo, Outline and Value Study. Airplane landing at Los Angeles Airport.

Day 3: Monday, January 23 Reference Photo, Outline and Value Study: Hatcher’s Pass in Alaska.

Day 4: Tuesday, January 24 Reference Photo, Outline and Value Study: Birds on dam, Evergreen, Colorado.

Day 5: Wednesday, January 25 Reference Photo, Outline and Value Study: My cat Cucumber in a paper bag.

Day 6: Thursday, January 26 Reference Photo, Outline and Value Study: Plant on my porch.

Day 7: Friday, January 27 Reference Photo, Outline and Value Study: Trees in Savannah, Georgia

How did I create the outlines and value study?
