Watercolor Challenge: Antiques

This week, we’re taking a trip down memory lane. Our theme is Antiques, items over 100 years old.  Here are a few objects to spark your creativity: an antique pocket watch, an old radio or Victrola, old rocking chair, a vintage camera, Grandfather clock… — any object over 100 years old.

Deadline June 20, 2025 , 11:59 pm ET    

Here are the details:

  • Share a painting of an antique object that is at least over 100 years old
  • Sponsored by  Rachel Parker
  • Prize for one random winner:  6 month subscription to Rachel’s Patreon channel
  • Entries must be posted in the Facebook group: Watercolor – Beginners and Beyond
  • Include topic hashtag in your Facebook post:  #antiques
  • You may enter as often as you want
  • Open to all countries
  • Winner is chosen randomly
  • Deadline June 20, 2025, 11:59 pm ET (New York time)
  • Winner announced June 22, 2025
  • Mediums accepted:  watercolor, watercolor pencils, gouache, water soluble graphite, water soluble inks, and mixed media as long as it includes watercolor
