Painting Challenge: Art Journey (then and now)

It is time to showcase your progress and celebrate your artistic journey!  Share a painting from early in your art journey alongside a recent piece.  Let’s see how much you’ve grown and evolved as an artist.  Whether you are experienced or just starting, everyone is welcome.  If you’ve just picked up a brush, share your very first painting, even if it was just last week, and pair with something you’ve created today.  Celebrate your progress!

What is the prize?

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Graham Berry, the prize for one random winner is a one-year subscription to Graham’s courses: Paint with Graham.  There are over 100 full tutorials available immediately with a new tutorial added every 2 weeks.  His painting style is perfect for both beginner and experienced artists.  He will help you take your watercolor skills to the next level to continue to grow as an artist.

If you’d like to try a tutorial for free, sign up here.   I learned so much from his free tutorial about using a limited palette, creating warm light, and to allow the paint to “do its thing” and not fiddle with it too much.
