The Northern and Southern Lights appear when charged particles from the sun collide with gases in Earth’s atmosphere near the poles, creating glowing waves of color—like nature’s own brushstrokes across the sky. With dazzling sightings of the Northern Lights lighting up the news recently, we’re channeling that cosmic magic into this week’s challenge: Paint the colorful, mysterious skies of the Aurora Borealis (Northern Hemisphere) or Aurora Australis (Southern Hemisphere).
