Cacti are fascinating plants with their intricate shapes and vibrant blooms.  Their ability to store water in their stems allows them to withstand long periods of drought.  This is crucial, as it helps maintain the ecological balance in arid regions.  Birds, bats, and insects are attracted to the nectar and fruits produced by cacti, contributing to pollination and seed dispersal.

  • Share a painting of cacti (succulents are okay too)

  • Mediums accepted:  watercolor, watercolor pencils, gouache, water soluble graphite, water soluble inks, and mixed media as long as it includes watercolor
