Watercolor Challenge: Kindness

Many countries recognize Random Acts of Kindness Day on February 17.  This week’s challenge is all about creating a little burst of joy for someone else.  Your mission: Paint something—anything!—that you will give away to brighten someone’s day.  Kindness doesn’t have to be grand to be meaningful. Sometimes the smallest gesture becomes someone’s brightest moment.  Share your creation in the Facebook group, and if you feel inspired, tell us who you’re gifting it to. Let’s fill the week with generosity, color, and connection.

Here’s to art that travels farther than we ever know.

Watercolor challenge:  Random Acts of Kindness

Here are the details:

  • Share a painting you’ll give to someone who needs a little extra kindness, and if you want, tell us who you’re giving it to

  • Winner is chosen randomly

  • Winner announced February 22, 2026
  • Mediums accepted:  watercolor, watercolor pencils, gouache, water soluble graphite, water soluble inks, and mixed media as long as it includes watercolor
