Summer is over (thank goodness for those who have dreadful heat!). Fall is here.

Autumn is my favorite season. Probably because we get a break from the Hot Houston Summer!

Pumpkins on the porch and in pies!

Fresh apples…. more pies!

Acorns falling from my oak tree. Squirrels gather some. My husband rakes the rest.

And I get to wear socks again. During summer, it’s too hot to wear anything except sandals and flip-flops.
