Painting Challenge: Postcard Art

This week, our challenge is to share your art on a postcard with a friend, family member, or someone in the group to brighten their day.

Paint a postcard.

This is a simple challenge that will make someone’s day.

Cut a piece of watercolor paper to postcard size, and paint a simple scene. It doesn’t have to be a masterpiece, just find joy in painting it. Your joy will be felt by the person who receives it.
If you’d like to send to someone in the group, include the country you’re willing to mail to in your post. Whoever comments and says they would love the postcard, you can get their address in private message.
If you don’t have varnish spray or wax medium to protect it, don’t worry about it. I mail many postcards without varnish, and they go through the postal system okay. Or you can put inside an envelope.
Remember, this isn’t a masterpiece. You are sharing JOY. That’s the goal.
