Pantone’s Color of the Year 2023 is Viva Magenta 18-1750.

The challenge is to use Magenta as the focal point of your painting.   

Questions you may have:

• Does the entire painting need to be magenta?
  • No, just make sure magenta is the focal point of the painting (magenta flowers, magenta candle, magenta dress, etc.)
• What if I don’t have magenta?
  • That’s okay.  Use whatever pink you have:  carmine, pink, rose, madder lake, etc.

 

What is the prize?
