Artists Helping Artists 2023

This is a KINDNESS Initiative to help those who need some kindness (and art supplies).  

I have witnessed the power of kindness in Watercolor – Beginners and Beyond.   Members encourage each other every day.  This kindness creates a ripple effect that spreads across the world.

Do you have extra supplies you would like to share with someone? 

or… Do you need supplies?  

We have done this 4 times previously, and group members helped over 1000 people who needed art supplies — all over the world!

Survey will close January 15, 2024. 

Here is how it works:

  • Complete the survey indicating if you need watercolor supplies, or want to share supplies: Artists Helping Artists
  • Within the same country, I will match those who have extra to give to those who need.
    • If there are people who are willing to pay international postage to other countries, please indicate that in the last question in the survey.
  • The sender and recipient will receive an email from Diann.wbb@gmail.com and then the recipient can share mailing address.  (I will match people during January and February, longer depending on the number of responses.)
  • The sender mails the art goodies to the recipient.
  • Everyone is filled with joy.  🙂

  • Can we share used watercolor palettes, pans, tubes, brushes?
    • Yes, of course!
  • Is it okay to share student grade supplies?
    • Yes.   This has been a financially demanding time for many.   All art supplies will bring someone joy!  (and student grade supplies are great to use!)
  • Can we buy a e-gift card from an art supply store or Amazon to send?
    • Yes!  Make sure to buy an eGift card from a store in the recipient’s country to avoid the cost of international shipping.
